So, yesterday was my first ever Wedding Fair and I honestly didn't know what to expect...... but I am happy to say it was a great success!
I was really pleased with the level of interest and response we got at the 83Weddings stall, as well as getting the chance to meet lots of other lovely suppliers.
After a hectic Saturday getting our last few bits for the stall and doing a mock set-up on my Mums living room floor we were ready. Sunday morning soon came and despite our late night run through, Grace (my other half) and I were still on a learning curve while setting up, which included a last minute dash into Yarm for fresh flowers courtesy of Diana Kaye Florist, but we got there in the end.
Kiss The Bride did a great job on the day and the organisation was spot on, with refreshments and cake for guests and the lovely venue of Worsall Village Hall which in itself attracted a lot of interest from perspective brides and grooms (including ourselves). All-in-all it was well worth all the effort and I can't wait for the next one.
When I got a moment to get away from the stall I grabbed a few pics of the fair which you can take a look at below:
Every supplier we met was so friendly and straight away we felt like part of the wedding fair community, here's a few to check out if you're looking for other ideas and wedding suppliers:
